For the past 20 years, I have been dedicated to providing individuals and families with client-centered therapy focused on mental health support, skill building, psychoeducation, and navigating IEP & school systems. After earning my Social Service Worker diploma at Sheridan College, my career began in case management, where I worked with youth facing challenges related to housing, addictions, and mental health issues. I furthered my knowledge of mental health practices while completing my Honours BSW degree from Ryerson University.
Throughout my journey as a mental health provider, I have worked in various clinical settings, including youth shelters, adolescent day treatment programs, group facilitation, and private practice. This diverse experience has allowed me to connect with many individuals and families, providing tailored support and treatment plans.
I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients—from children to adults—addressing concerns such as:
- Anxiety disorders
- Depression
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- Parental Concerns & Support
- Neurodivergent Awareness, Understanding, and Skill Building
- Behavioural Challenges
- Self-Harm Behaviour
- Anger Management
- Stress Management
- Family and Relationship Concerns
- Suicidal Ideation and Risk Reduction
- Self-Image and Self-Esteem Concerns
Through my work, I strive to empower clients with effective mental health support, ensuring that each person's unique needs are met with compassion and expertise. I am proud to offer therapy, which emphasizes the importance of individualized care in promoting mental well-being.
At the heart of my practice is a client-centered therapy philosophy that honours your strengths, your story, and the resilience you already carry. I work collaboratively with individuals and families to explore what’s working, understand what feels difficult, and build skills and strategies that support your continued growth and restoration through effective mental health support.
My goal is to offer a compassionate and safe space where you feel comfortable opening up, reflecting, and being truly seen. As we develop a strong, trusting relationship, we move together toward increased self-awareness, emotional steadiness, and an improved sense of well-being, guided by evidence-based modalities and best practices.
